Code of Conduct for Coaches/Managers/volunteers

1. Consider the well-being and safety of players before the development of performance.

2. Coaches/Managers are requested to be punctual at all times.

3. Promote the positive aspects of the sport (e.g. fair play).

4. Encourage players to value their performances and not just results

5. Coaches/Managers will address players and parents in a courteous and respectful manner at all times.

6. Coaches/Managers will be respectful to all match officials, opposition players, parents and managers.

7. All equipment and kit must be treated with respect and care.

8. Bad or disrespectful language will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

9. Coaches/Managers must only encourage players during matches, discussions about players  performances etc must be  kept until after the game in the confines of the dressing room.

10. Coaches/Managers must ensure that he is not left alone in the dressing room with players at anytime, there should be two adults in the dressing room at all times.

11. All Coaches/Managers will be required to participate in the Disclosure Scotland child protection system, which will administered by the Scottish Youth Football Association (SYFA)
